The Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Fountain

stoneCIRCLE was chosen to realise the architect's computer generated 3D imagery for the Diana memorial in Hyde Park as accurate granite samples to allow government approval of the design. These samples were then presented to Gustafson Porter (the architects of the fountain), the Royal Parks team and the Secretary for Culture, Media & Sport, Tessa Jowell.
The fountain model was manufactured from granite carved with various uniquely textured surface effects to create different movements of the water and is an example of the intricate machining at which the company excels, whether in miniature as for the architect's models or life size as in other projects.
